We are IVSA Thailand!

After the IVSA Asia conference in Chiangmai in 2013, IVSA chapter has been set in Thailand with the first MO team. We processed on some IVSA work mainly on advertizing IVSA and opened for new members in Thailand. But in 2015 we have been actively making a further step to form a stronger chapter. Our member organization of 2015 has been officially formed at faculty of veterinary science, Chulalongkorn university at the end of August 2014 We have set the new MO positions including

President: Wannita Jirasatitvorakul

Vice president: Pongsuriya Sema

EO: Pitchaya Pokpong

Assistant EOs, Local Eos, Treasurer, Coordinator, Public relation, Creative, Sponsorship etc..

Moreover, we have our LOGO that we proudly present !

Meaning Our logo has elephant on it because elephants are the symbol animals of the nation. They are intelligent and so lovely. Elephant and globe mean we are ready to work globally with our beloved IVSA friends around the world!

Chulalongkorn University is composed of 19 faculties, 23 colleges and research institutes. Currently there are over 38,000 students including 24,951 undergraduates, 13,391 postgraduates (10,881 in the Master’s Degree and 2,150 in the Doctoral Degree programs) and 2,800 faculty members. Naming Chulalongkorn University was founded in its present form in 1917 by King Vajiravudh (Rama VI). It was named after his father, King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), who laid the foundations for modern education in Thailand. Emblem Phra Kieo is derived from a coronet formerly worn by princes and prince.

Faculty of veterinary science, Chulalongkorn University


First founded in 1935 as an independent Department of Veterinary Science under the Faculty of Art and Science, Chulalongkorn University. Seven years later, it became the Faculty of Veterinary Science under the University of Medicine (presently Mahidol University). In 1957, it was transferred once again to Chulalongkorn University, where it has remained ever since. Now, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University is the one of the well-known veterinary student in Thailand and South East Asia.It received the 1st raking in the veterinary filed in Thailand. Besides veterinary ungraduated study, the Faculty offers lots of post graduate program in veterinary filed such as Master of Science (M.Sc.),Internship Program, Diploma and Ph.D. programs. At the present, the faculty admits 160 ungraduated students and more than 40 graduated students each year. We also has a lot of collaborates with many oversea institutions in exchange program or research projects. Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University offers a six-year ungraduated program leading to the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M). Moreover, we also have many research unit and special institutes such as Small Animals Hospital, Livestock Hospital, Laboratory Animals Center and Aquatic Medicine Research Institute.
