Our Faculty
History:
The Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade de São Paulo (FMVZ USP) is a public institution founded in 1919, and ever since then has been a protagonist in veterinary science, producing relevant scientific research and graduating excellent professionals. Thanks to its team of professors, students and employees, the FMVZ USP is recognized as the best veterinary school from Brazil and also from South America.
Mission:
Graduate and improve professionals on the most diverse areas of Veterinary Science, with courses of graduation and post-graduation
Develop scientific and technological researches of national interest in the area of Veterinary Science
Support with scientific collaboration public institutions, private companies and national and international scientific centers.
Structure of the FMVZ USP: Our faculty is based at the University City “Armando Salles de Oliveira”, on São Paulo city, and also have activities at the campus “Fernando Costa”, on Pirassununga.
